The swedish government is spending millions on getting a piece of a fast growing tourism market - adventure tourism. Adventure tourism is one of the fastest growing trends internationally. Now Sweden, with its right of public access, is trying to get a piece of the market. A state sponsored campaign is aimed at getting more tourists to go on an adventure in Sweden. Visit Sweden, the organisation that markets Sweden abroad, has received 30 million Swedish crowns from the government. The money is to be used in an advertising campaign, which focuses on Swedish nature and the right to public access.
