The Russian 12-year-old got his coat jammed in the moving staircase mechanism and was pulled over the edge from the third to the ground floor in Tver.He broke a leg and was "screaming in pain", say witnesses. But he was saved from more serious injuries by landing on the roof of a fruit and vegetable stall, part of a grocery store, which cushioned his fall.
