2005-7 MEI Hydraulic Elevators @ Fox Valley Mall, Aurora, IL

This is a Mall I’ve wanted to go to for a long time. This was my 3rd time coming here actually. My Mom used to work at Buckle back in summer of 2011. (Which is another Mall store.) After that, We came with our Step Mom, Dad, and our 2 Step Brothers. And now, the day this was recorded.

Here are two scenic hydraulic elevators that are hospital sized, scenic, and have BOISTEROUS motors. I believe these are MEI (Minnesota Elevator Incorporation.) But according to Northern Illinois Elevators, there’s no association or headquarters for MEI in the Chicagoland area. These elevators were installed in 2005 or 2007, but the Mall opened in 1975. So there probably used to be older elevators in the Center Court, before these elevators were installed? (Who knows though.) I do like the internal and external chimes! These elevators are really cool nonetheless!

I do plan on revising this Mall sometime next week to get the rest of the elevators. Including a retake of these since We were pressed for time.
