DOOR PROBLEMS - Generic Schindler Lift @ Metrocentre Yellow Car Park (Single Lift)

This lift is one of 3 lifts located at the yellow mall car park in the Metrocentre, Gateshead. This lift is the one located by itself, the other 2 are a set which are located elsewhere in the car park.

All 3 lifts here were originally installed when the Metrocentre first opened in the 1980's. They were originally generic lifts. All 3 lifts were then modernised by Thyssenkrupp in 2005. Reliability of the lifts became a significant issue in the 2010's so they were modernised again by Schindler in 2017. Although all 3 lifts are now generic Schindler, there are differences between the 3. The set of 2 lifts have different buttons to this one, and all 3 have a different voice! In the set of 2, the right lift has a Scottish generic lift voice whereas the left lift has the Schindler 5500 ("elevator is going down") voice! This lift has a different generic voice.

This lift serves floors 1 - 5 of the car park. It is not too bad, although levelling is quite slow.

At 2:05 door problems start to occur at floor 1. The door refuses to close multiple times! This issue occurs again off camera after I end the video.
