This new extension building has just been completed this year and is installed with only one elevator from Sigma rather than Hyundai like in the older building next door. However, this particular Sigma is very different from the usual ones thanks to its fixtures.
Yes no joke! It's the same set of fixtures like the ones in South Korea, and I believe this is the first of its kind found in Indonesia. Apparently these fixtures have been introduced very recently on the ACRA model based on its brochure, and so far I can tell they are not available yet on other Sigma models. This one uses OTIS's BR27A(B) series concave buttons and white LED indicators, the standard version that comes with orange LEDs are always paired with Sigma's round silver buttons. The call buttons are slightly different though. There is a blue light on the top of each landing call stations which supposedly light up when the car arrives (just like in South Korea) but unfortunately it doesn't work.
The most interesting thing here is the floor indicator inside the car. Again, its the exact same indicator as the one in South Korea with the iconic "Green Zone" light and some other smaller icons around it. Those icons represent various features that are included in this elevator, like an "anti-pest protection" (which I'm assuming it works by ultrasonic waves), "air purifier", "OTIS ReGen regenerative drive", "OTIS Elite maintenance service" and an eco-friendly related feature which I don't know what it is (the leaf icon). It's almost like Hyundai's Smart Indicator anyway, pretty cool! Oddly the arrow keeps scrolling even when the elevator stops to pick up passengers.
As usual, the OTIS "ding" chime and fireman switch are used in this elevator, an obvious sign that Sigma elevators are now produced at OTIS Electric's Hangzhou factory in China since their Dalian factory has closed down in 2016 (their good old legacy Changwon factory has been sold to LG Electronics in 2013). Ride quality was fine and leveling was pretty quick which is good. Overall this is a very nice elevator and a rather unexpected find! At least it's not those bog standard Sigma designs all over again this time, so it's really nice to see something quite different.
